I have to be honest with you all, we’ve had the same bathroom scale for almost 12 years now. I know, right?! My husband swears that it still works fine but I have trouble getting it to actually come on and so I was worried that it wasn’t reading right. So when this opportunity to review a new scale came up, I seized the chance and took it.
The Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Scale is great. What I love most about it is that it is a scale….with benefits. Sure, you can weigh yourself. And then you can save that on your profile, get your BMI and it tells you how much you’ve gained or lost. You don’t even have to figure it out yourself, which keeps me honest.
I can’t wait to tell you all about this scale. So here are the really great things about it.
Its glass top gives it a sleek look that will fit into any bathroom and comes in white or black. It’s just sleek and it has non-slip feet so no matter what flooring you have, there will be no scratching.
The scale is able to weigh up to 400 lbs with auto-recognition technology for 5 unique users. What’s really great is that is automatically calibrates when you step on it. No more waiting for it to show zero. And it has an automatic shut off to save battery life.
The display is easy to read and has a backlight for low-light rooms. As you can see by the little toes before, Moo Moo was my model and her weight was so easy to read from my height, even without my glasses.
With a 7 day memory, and instant BMI, you can easily compare each week. This smart scale will easily inform you of a gain or loss – red if you gain and green if you lose. I think this is great for more than easy detection. It’s give you an idea of your weight trend. Maybe you gain for 3 days then lose big? While I do not believe that we should be weighing ourselves every day, for those that do it is an interesting, informative feature.
I’ll be honest, it took me a little bit to figure out how to set the profiles and if I am perfectly honest, I still don’t think I have it right. And maybe that is why I haven’t been able to see a red or green indicator yet. But you know, if without that stuff, I am completely happy with the scale. It’s still super easy to use and easy to read. That is the most important thing right?
If you need a new, affordable scale, I don’t think you can go wrong with this one.
